Erasmus Students

All outgoing ERASMUS students must register at National University of Ireland, Maynooth, and pay the requisite fee to NUIM for the year in which they are in attendance at a European University. ERASMUS students covered under the 'free' fees scheme must sign and return the 'free' fees claim form issued by the University in the second term.

Transferring your grant to your bank account:

Should you find that you are in receipt of a grant for the time that you are in attendance at a European University you can fill out our form and return it to the Fees and Grants Office or call in person to organise a transfer of your grant to your Bank account.

In order to have your grant transferred to your account there are 3 criteria that MUST be met in every case.

• The relevant form completed in full and returned to the Office
• A letter from the Head of your Department confirming that you are going abroad
• A letter from your local authority confirming that you are in receipt of a grant
